Folks, it ain't gonna happen.
Getting rid of acne takes time, patience and discipline. You have to want those pimples gone and you have to work for it. With all that said, for most people, getting rid of acne is not rocket science, it's just a matter of plain old work. With the exception of a few prescription drugs that have been developed in the last decade, the general rules for finally ridding your face of those awful pimples are the same as they have been for thirty or forty years.
Just for the sake of those who have been asleep and haven't heard, these are the primary defenses for dealing with your acne problem.
- Keep you face clean. That means you need to wash your face several times every day. Use a good acne soap a couple of times a day and don't touch your face with your dirty hands. The oils, salts and grime from your fingers will settle nicely into your pores and grow into another red surprise for you in no time.
- Get a good over-the-counter ointment or gel like benzoyl-peroxide that will help dry up the pimples that have opened and work to keep new ones from forming.
- Last but not least, drain the pimples you have after they come to a head. Yes, I said to pop your pimples but only after they have come to a head and are full of puss. By draining the puss from the pimple you are helping it to begin the healing process.
There you go, the time honored and effective ways to fight the great facial battle. Just remember that you have to be patient with this. Your face has to heal from every wound that was a pimple. With effort and a little time you will win the war and people will be asking you how to get rid of the acne.
